The CPA currently on our Board joined our Board in May 2008 as Treasurer. His responsibility is the Finance Committee Chair. All Board members are expected to participate in fundraising events and to financially contribute to the organization. It would be expected of a CPA to review the monthly financials with the Finance Committee and answer questions that the Director of Finance may have regarding the finances and procedures relating to GAAP.
