Briefly describe the CPAs role as a board member and any other expectations or comments:

Our board is in place to manage and direct affairs of our agency. They help guide our direction, policies and procedures. As a board member, a CPA would assist in these matters. We would also like them to join our finance committee, assisting the Treasurer with the duties of having custody of all corporate funds and financial records, keep full and accurate accounts and records of receipts and disbursements of the Corporation and be responsible for compliance with Section 5.1 with respect to such accounts and records, and render an accounting whenever required by the Board of Directors or President.
We also have Partnership Council, which will allow a CPA to be more involved with the activities of the organization. For further information regarding this, please contact Ellen Loebelenz at 954-986-9517.
