The board of the Boys & Girls Clubs serve four primary roles. 1) Trusteeship - the board is the active governing body of the organization; 2) Planning - the board works in partnership with the CPO as the leadership of the organization - the board set direction and plan for the future 3) Policy Setting - the board is responsible for setting policies governing the organizations daily operations and ongoing activities 4) FUNDING - this is the top priority for our board - whereas the board must exercise its fiduciary oversight obligations and must also assist in raising money to meet the annual budget.
