The mission of the Board is to provide fundraising support, fiscal oversight, advocacy and strategic direction for the organization. As a Board member, you will be expected to actively participate in these endeavors, including, but not limited to the following responsibilities: Attendance at the monthly Board meetings, establish and provide stewardship for major corporate and individual donors, support fundraising efforts deployed by Freedom Ride by either chairing, serving on the committee, or engaging personal contacts to benefit an initiative, attend and/or volunteer at fundraising events.
