Judith M. Ploszek

Acting Executive Vice President & CFO
Tampa General Hospital

Ms. Ploszek joined Tampa General Hospital in 1998 and is responsible for financial reporting and accounting, decision support services, the revenue cycle functions (patient financial services, health information management, reimbursement, coding/clinical documentation improvement, and case management), payor relations (governmental and commercial contracting), and supply chain (including process improvement).  Ms. Ploszek has 40 years of health care financial management, accounting and consulting experience.  Her career has included public accounting with Arthur Andersen & Co., consulting with Kaufman, Hall & Associates and Ernst & Young LLP, and financial accounting and management positions with four hospital providers, including three teaching facilities.  While with Kaufman, Hall & Associates, Ms. Ploszek was the primary architect of the original 1988 version of the ENUFF© financial model.  Ms. Ploszek has a BBA in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA with a specialization in Finance and concentrations in Accounting and Healthcare Administration from the University of Chicago.
