Ken received his Bachelors Degree from Boston University in 1975 and his Masters in Tax from Florida International University in 1981. Ken has lectured extensively to professional groups and clients, and has published many articles in professional journals and commercial publications. The Tax Advisor voted Best Article of the Year his article on "Fiscal Year Non-Conformity". The Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, New York Times and the Miami Herald frequently quote Ken as an expert regarding various tax issues. Ken is also a co-author of the Disaster Area Practice Guide, which was published by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as an industry guideline. He has been frequently selected as one of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Outstanding Discussion Leaders, and is a former Regional Vice President for the Southern region. Ken is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and serves on the Individual Tax Committee and the Interest Expense Task Force. He is also a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and served on the Executive Committee, the Board of Governors, Editorial Chairman of Committee for the Florida CPA Today. He is Former Chairman of the Federal Taxation Committee and Past-President of the Gold Coast Chapter. He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners. Ken's business memberships include the Miami Estate Planning Group and the International Association of Financial Planners, and Past President of the South Florida Chapter.
