Gregory B. Capin, CPA
Gregg has over thirty years of experience managing audit and advisory services for a wide range of not-for-profit organizations both nationally and internationally. He is a partner in the Atlanta office of CapinCrouse and serves as National Director of Business Development. Prior to joining the firm in 1979, he served as a foundation accounting and trust manager. He holds a B.A. degree from Azusa Pacific University. CapinCrouse is devoted to serving not-for-profit entities nationally with 11 offices, 15 partners, and more than 100 associates. The firm serves a wide range of not-for-profit entities including associations, community organizations, foundations, and more than 300 churches and denominations, 100 international organizations, 70 employee benefit plans, and 60 institutions of higher education. Gregg serves on the AICPA Not-for-Profit Entities Expert Panel and as Chair of the AICPA Not-for-Profit Entities Audit Guide Revision Task Force. He is also a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Not-for-Profit Advisory Committee. He serves as Chair of the ECFA Religious Organizations Accounting Committee, publisher of the Religious Organizations Accounting and Financial Reporting Guide, and has also served as a member of the ECFA Standards Committee. Gregg has presented sessions on not-for-profit topics within the firm and for industry groups, for the AICPA, and for several state CPA society conferences. He is a member of the AICPA, the Georgia Society of CPAs, and the Texas Society of CPAs.
