Matthew Mayper is a shareholder with the law firm of Fergeson, Skipper, Shaw, Keyser, Baron & Tirabassi, P.A. in Sarasota. Since he began practicing as an attorney, Matt has practiced in the areas of estate and trust administration, guardianship administration, estate and gift taxation, federal income taxation and corporate law. Matt is also a Board Certified Tax Lawyer and has received the prestigious AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Matt is a Past President of the Florida State Guardianship Association, Inc., served on the Board of Directors of the Florida State Guardianship Association, Inc., for almost six years, and is one of the founding Directors of the Florida Guardianship Foundation, Inc. Matt has served as an instructor for the 40-Hour Professional Guardian’s Training Course and the 10-Hour Family Guardian’s Training Course. Matt is currently on the Board of Trustees for the Pines of Sarasota Foundation, Inc., and has previously served on the Board of Trustees of Tidewell Hospice for seven years. Matt has also served as Chair of the Estate Planning and Probate Section of the Sarasota County Bar Association and the Guardianship Subsection of the Sarasota County Bar Association. Matt’s preparatory and legal education has all been with the University of Florida where he earned four degrees (B.A. with honors, 1985; M.Acc. 1986; J.D. with honors, 1992; and LL.M. in Taxation 1993). He is also a member of the Tax Section of the Florida Bar, the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc., the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, and the Sarasota County Bar Association. Prior to becoming an attorney, Matt practiced as a Certified Public Accountant for over three years and has maintained his license in Florida for over 25 years.

J. Allison Archbold is a shareholder with the law firm of Fergeson, Skipper, Shaw, Keyser, Baron & Tirabassi, P.A. in Sarasota. She practices in the areas of estate and trust administration and estate and gift taxation. Allison is also a Board Certified Wills, Trusts and Estates Lawyer and has received the AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Allison is currently on the Board of Trustees for the Marie Selby Botanical Garden and the Board of Directors for the Cornell Club of Sarasota-Manatee and the Selby Associates. Allison has also served as Chair of the Estate Planning and Probate Section of the Sarasota County Bar Association. Allison received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and her juris doctor degree and master of law degree from the University of Miami. She is also a member of the Estate Planning & Probate Section of the Sarasota County Bar Association and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar. Prior to becoming an estate planning attorney, Allison was a judge advocate in the United States Marine Corps.
