Special Message

As you all know, this is the season of giving and the Miracle Strip Chapter would like nothing more than to help give to those in need within our community.  The past couple of years we have held an event and asked for contributions to support our chosen charity.  This year we have decided to support our local Anchorage Children's Home which serves neglected and homeless youth in our community.  Anchorage was founded 34 years ago by local citizens who wanted to make sure homeless runaway youth had a safe place to go.  They serve over 1100 youth and families through their various programs involving emergency shelter, transitional living, maternity transitional living, street outreach, family counseling, foster care sibling group home, and case management for foster care youth.  We are requesting that those attending the December meeting please bring some of the following items in support of the Anchorage Children's Home.  And to reward our awesome members for their generous contributions, the Miracle Strip Chapter officers will be offering the December meeting at no cost to our members.  Due to restaurant constraints, seating may become limited so please RSVP earlier to ensure your seat.  Please contact a chapter officer with any questions you may have.  To learn more about the Anchorage Children's Home, please visit their wesbite:
