Provides participants with instructions and insight into unusual and unique accounting, auditing, and financial reporting issues and situations involving not-for-profit organizations and related entities.The course covers issues dealing with internal controls of non profits and religious organizations, special controls for unusual programs and asset recognition issues for non-profits. New reporting NFP requirements will be discussed.

  • Issues include preparation, compilation, review and audit problems of non profit entities

  • New disclosures in non profits will be discussed
  • Important concerns about interim financial reporting, fraud, internal controls and budgeting in non profit organizations are explained in detail and will include examples
  • Unusual and unique problems of religious organizaitions will be briefly discussed
  • Ongoing Internal Control matters for non profit organizations will be discussed.
