Learn about the new 2018 and 2017 Accounting Standards Codification and Updates. Areas covered will be Revenue Recognition, Leases, and Financial Instruments, and other important GAAP changes such as GAAP based on the the tax laws for 2018. New audit reports and GAAS standards from the AICPA’s ASB. Accounting (ASUs), auditing (SASs), preparation and compilation and review standards (SSARS) from 2018 and earlier. Is it a compilation or a preparation engagement? The new SSARS 22 and SSARS 23 are explored. Further discussiuons on Quality Control, Peer Review, and Ethic’s revisions and changes. Practical solutions to complex issues will be offered. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues for which they need information.

  • Updates on Other Comphrehensive Basis of Accounting (OCBOA)
  • Updates on Peer Review and related regulatory problems

  • Documentation standards will be reviewed for changes required by Clarity Project for Audits, SSARS 21, 22, 23, Documentation, and other required information for the Revised Ethics of the AICPA
