Mobility

For nearly 10 years there have been attempts to accomplish the goal of developing and implementing a uniform approach to cross-state mobility through the concept of substantial equivalency. The FICPA has put together a Mobility Task Force to study the proposed revisions to the Uniform Accountancy Act (UAA) that would allow a comprehensive system for permitting licensee mobility while making explicit the boards’ authority to regulate all who offer or render professional services within their jurisdiction.
