The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) is the premier professional organization representing Florida's Certified Public Accountants. Serving on an FICPA Committee is a great way for accounting professionals to network with their peers from around the entire State, while enabling them to play an influential role in shaping the future of their profession. Managing Partner John Stroemer, CPA, CFST, CAM, GRI has been appointed to two FICPA Committees. First, the CIRA Committee, which plans and presents the FICPA Common Interest Realty Association Conference and assists members in becoming more technically proficient in accounting, tax, consultation and certain operational matters related to Florida’s CIRA industry by sharing valuable and timely information. John will also be active on the State Legislative Policy Committee, which discusses revisions to Florida Accountancy Laws and Rules; develops proposed legislative policies; coordinates with FICPA committees on potential legislative issues; and reviews pending legislation affecting the CPA profession.
