Dear Members of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants,

By FICPA
FICPA.org

We here at FICPA are closely monitoring the weather and the track for Hurricane Irma. This is a very strong and serious storm, and it is imperative that all Floridians take this threat seriously and pay attention to updates from the National Hurricane Center. We encourage you to take the necessary steps now to prepare your home and your families for the potential impact from the storm.

As a reminder, FICPA is in contact with the Florida Department of Revenue to stay on top of information regarding taxpayer relief that may be available related to the ability to comply with timely filing of returns and payments.

Our team will continue to monitor and update our own hurricane resources page and would suggest you also visit floridadisaster.org and redcross.org for more materials on preparedness and staying safe.

The safety of our neighbors is our number one concern and FICPA stands ready to help and serve in every way we are able to. Please reach out to our Member Service Center with any questions or concerns that you may have.
