Upcoming Events

Volunteers Needed!
Would you like to serve in a leadership position among your peers? This would be a great addition to your resume or bio. Especially for our younger CPA’s!

The Brevard Chapter is seeking volunteers in all leadership positions. You do not need to have been a regular attendee of our meetings. We are trying to reach out to our younger members – those who work in the larger CPA firms who may not be regular attendees

We have lots of former Chapter Officers who are happy to help out behind the scenes, so if you are new to our group, it will not be a problem at all! Our Chapter runs smoothly, the positions only require a couple of hours of your time each month. We don’t hold any major events or fundraisers that require management or planning. We have a listing of speakers available to provide the monthly CPE credits.

Most of the other work is done by the FICPA office in Tallahassee. So, please consider this as a way to serve in the CPA community! As a perk, your CPE is discounted 50%!

We need volunteers for all positions:

CPE Liaison

If you want to get involved, now is the time to act, the deadline to respond is Monday, March 23, 2015.

Please note...without volunteers to fill these positions, the Chapter will dissolve and members will have the choice of joining the Polk County or the Sailfish Chapters.

If you are interested or have questions before committing, please contact Debra Kelly at Current Chapter officers Leslie McElhinney ( and Ray Wasser ( are available to help transition to the new leadership and are available to answer questions as well.
