FICPA Looks for Outstanding CPAs
The Florida Institute of CPAs was built on volunteerism more than 100 years ago, and it is volunteerism keeping the Institute relevant for its members and securing its place as one of the most respected state CPA societies in the country.
The FICPA has several award programs allowing the leadership and the organization to recognize outstanding volunteer service within the CPA community.
FICPA 26 Under 36
About the Award: Highlights CPAs younger than 36 making significant contributions to the accounting profession and their communities.
Who’s Eligible: FICPA members who are younger than 36.
Awards Announced: Winners will be featured in the March/April 2013 issue of Florida CPA Today.

FICPA Public Service Award
About the Award: Acknowledges the extraordinary achievements of an individual CPA participating in public service activities and promotes the CPA designation as the premier professional credential for accounting, auditing and finance professionals.
Who’s Eligible: Members of the FICPA who dedicate themselves to public service.

FICPA Outstanding Educator Award
About the Award: Designed to recognize full-time college accounting educators distinguished for excellence in teaching and for national prominence in the accounting profession. The award has a dual function: to extend profession-wide recognition to the recipient and promote role models in academia.
Who’s Eligible: Members of the FICPA who work in education (does not need to be a voting FICPA Member).
