The PPACA creates incredible opportunities for CPAs
Can you provide the guidance clients demand?
Your clients have been watching the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act closely. The rules are changing, the oversight is increasing and the system is getting more complex. CPAs have opportunities to provide value-added services like cost reduction; tax work; and bottom-line guidance for reimbursement changes – and that’s just the beginning of the list.
The 2014 FICPA Health Care Industry Conference prepares you for a changing market with sessions covering the employer perspective on health care reform and how it’s changing the role of the CFO. Add to your benefit with four hours of ethics and the “Medicare Cost Reporting Reimbursement Strategy” pre-conference workshop.
Ethics: Protecting the Integrity of Florida CPAs
We are offering four credit hours of ethics a day prior to the Health Care Industry Conference. This ethics course has been updated with a focus on real-life ethical issues. Through lecture and class discussion, the course addresses internal and external issues CPAs face such as professional standards, ethical conduct, client communication and independence. This course complies with the ethics requirements of Florida CPAs as set forth by the Florida Board of Accountancy.
