Marc L. Catalano


President / Co-founder

Marc Catalano was in the home-care referral/nurse registry industry for thirty-six years in South Florida. He was President of Catalano’s Nurses Registry, Inc., which has served the long-term-care needs of Floridians since 1964. In January of 2005, Catalano's Nurses Registry, Inc. merged with Caregiver Services, Inc., a Nashville based corporation, where he was VP of Operations, having responsibility for 20 offices, 17 in Florida and 3 in Tennessee. In 2013, he co-founded ACA GPS which created ACA Management Tool® to assist employers in complying with the Employer Shared Responsibility provisions of the Affordable Care Act. ACA GPS now serves over 700 clients in over 35 states. Its clientele include State and local governments, as well as a variety of private sector businesses.

At ACA GPS he’s responsible for regulatory interpretation and education. As past President of Private Care Association he was responsible for legislative and regulatory affairs and was instrumental in the passage of legislation and regulation that has had a positive and cost effective effect on home-care and long-term-care throughout the State of Florida and the country.  

Additionally, he has co-developed software for the industry that allows insurance companies, care-coordinators and registries to work together when supporting the delivery of long-term-care. He was Managing Partner for Catalano, LLC where he provided legislative and regulatory guidance to the nurse registry industry, nurse registry operational compliance seminars, and general consulting on nurse registry issues. He currently provides seminars on ACA compliance for Applicable Large Employers.

Marc is a Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist, Registered Nurse and holds a BS degree in nursing from the University of the State of New York.
