Anne M. Wilkins

Anne M. Wilkins is on the accounting faculty at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Her primary teaching interests include principles of accounting, managerial accounting, and individual and corporate taxation. She was the founding partner of Wilkins, Crews & Henderson, P.C., a public accounting firm, which won the 2002 Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year -- 20 to 50 employees.

Ms. Wilkins has over twenty-five years of experience in local and regional firm tax and audit departments specializing in taxation and management consulting of individuals and closely held family businesses. She is a highly rated educator and speaker known for her ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand, manner using real life experiences in accounting. In addition, she currently serves on the board of directors and audit committee of a regional community bank and on the audit and compliance committee of a regional hospital.

Ms. Wilkins earned a Master of Accountancy (MACC) degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is a licensed CPA in the state of Tennessee. Also, she was selected as the UTC Beta Alpha Psi Chapter Accountant of the Year in 2002.
