Robert B. Morrison, ASA

Mr. Morrison is the Founder and Managing Partner of Morrison Valuation & Forensic Services, LLC (MorrisonVFS). He has over 10 years of experience in private industry corporate accounting and finance and over 20 years of experience providing valuation, forensic and litigation consulting services.

Mr. Morrison is an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the Intangible Asset specialty designation and is a former chairman of the Business Valuation Committee of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). He also is appointed to the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Business Valuers (IIBV) on which he currently serves as its Chairman. Mr. Morrison is a course developer for the ASA and an international instructor for the ASA and the IIBV.

Mr. Morrison recently was added to the Stetson University School of Business adjunct faculty to design and teach business valuation courses to graduate and undergraduate students. He also previously served as an adjunct professor of finance at the University of Central Florida.
Mr. Morrison has conducted business valuations for federal income, gift, and estate tax; litigation; transactional; and financial reporting purposes. He was one of a selected few firm-wide business valuation reviewers and consulted with audit teams regarding hundreds of third-party valuations submitted by clients as audit evidence of fair value.

Prior founding MorrisonVFS, Mr. Morrison served as a senior member and practice leader of three international public accounting firm consulting practices in the areas of financial analysis, forensic accounting, litigation support, business valuation and business damage evaluations. In addition to his client service and practice administration responsibilities, he also served as a national instructor for internal technical training classes.

Mr. Morrison is trained as a Collaborative Family Law Professional. He has provided expert testimony regarding financial and accounting matters in federal and state courts and in arbitration proceedings. He has served as the court appointed Special Master, Arbitrator, and Receiver; and in bankruptcy court as the court appointed Examiner, Chapter 11 Trustee, and specially appointed Chapter 7 Trustee. Mr. Morrison also has served as an adjunct professor in finance at the University of Central Florida.
