- Joe began his career working in the tax departments of the large nation accounting firms for over 10 years where he worked exclusively on federal and state tax matters. He left public accounting in 1991 when he began his own law practice and expanded his practice to include tax litigation.
- Joe received his B.B.A. Degree in accounting (1980) and his M.B.A. Degree (1982) from Florida Atlantic University. He received his J.D. Degree from the University of Miami School of Law (1984).
- Joe was awarded the FICPA’s 2011 and 2012 Discussion Leader of the Year awards for the various continuing professional education presentations he was involved with throughout the years.
- Joe is one of the co-authors of the State Sales and Use Taxation Treatise in the online CCH Expert Treatise Library.
