The FICPA Jacksonville Chapter is joining with the St. Johns Chapter for our annual meeting and A&A update by the one and only Jeff Sailor. Please also join us following the CPE presentation for a member's reception to network with fellow Jacksonville AND St. Johns CPAs. We look forward to seeing you there!

Accounting & Auditing Update and Review
Presented by Jeff Sailor, M.A., CPA
CPE: 3 Hours A&A

Jeff Sailor, M.A., CPA, received a Master’s in Accounting from the University of Florida. He then joined Peat Marwick’s auditing staff in Jacksonville, Florida, where he worked on a number of national accounts. Jeff started his own accounting firm in Ocala, Florida in 1984, and during that time developed unique auditing approaches and software.

Jeff began teaching CPE in 1992 in an effort to combat “boring CPE.” His goal: to research, create and teach accounting courses that educate AND entertain. Using creative teaching methods, sprinkled with humorous videos, Jeff keeps his audience awake and actively engaged in learning.

Jeff has been a featured speaker at several national, state and regional conferencees. He has presented at two NASBA national conferences on making education more engaging. He serves as an AICPA Peer Reviewer focusing on small firms and sole practitioners.

According to FICPA Policies and Procedures, Section VI (4), any one percent (1%) of Voting members of the Chapter may petition and submit supplemental nominations for Officers and/or Board of Directors, provided that such nominations be filed with the Secretary at least twenty days prior to the date of the election of officers. Notice of such supplemental nominations shall be provided by the Secretary to all Voting members at least ten days prior to the election of Officers and Board of Directors.
