Jay holds a degree in Accounting from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He recently retired as a partner from Ernst & Young. Throughout his almost 40 year career, Jay was responsible for using technology to improve efficiency in the delivery of tax and accounting services. Jay tells that he bought his first personal computer in 1978 and has been working with them and every type of technology since then. Before retiring from Ernst & Young, Jay was the Americas Markets Leader for Business Tax Compliance and reporting. Over his career, he developed and implemented strategies and processes for selling and delivering tax compliance services.

The program will provide you with the tools to teach your less experienced staff the nuisances of selling professional services. Starting with the premise that every person they meet is either a client or a potential client, we will discuss the concept of creating a culture of selling. The program will also include discussions on planning, attending and conducting a business meeting. While the idea is to help you, the seasoned professional to train newer staff, you will probably pick up a few tips yourself.
