Harris L. Bonnette, Jr. is an attorney with the law firm of FISHER, TOUSEY, LEAS & BALL, P.A in Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida, University of Miami, and Washington University in St. Louis. Mr. Bonnette is a Florida Bar Board Certified Tax Lawyer and is AV rated. He is a Co-Director for Education of the Tax Section of the Florida Bar and the Co-Vice Chair of the Estate & Trust Tax Planning Committee of the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section. He is the author of the article: The IRS Will Absolutely, Positively Not Pay Your Attorneys' Fees (Or Will They?), The Florida Bar Journal (May, 2010, Vol. 84, No. 5). Mr. Bonnette practices in all areas of Federal tax controversies, all trust and estate disputes including will and trust contests, estate and trust litigation, and estate and trust administration. After earning his LL.M. degree, he became an attorney with the Internal Revenue Service's Chief Counsel's Office from 1990 to 1995, first in Austin, Texas and then in Jacksonville, Florida.
