The FICPA is pleased to announce the honorees of its 26 Under 36 initiative. The goal of the initiative was to identify and recognize FICPA members younger than 36 who have made notable accomplishments through their service to our organization, the CPA profession and their communities.

"We congratulate the honorees on being selected as the best and brightest young members of the FICPA,” said Deborah Curry, CGMA, FICPA President/CEO. “We applaud their accomplishments and truly appreciate their service to the Institute and to the CPA profession."

The selection criteria were as follows:

• Professional experience, leadership/entrepreneurship and professional credentials
• FICPA volunteer activities, such as chapter, committee and interest-group involvement; community outreach, such as student programs and financial-literacy events; and media activities, such as speaking, writing or blogging.
• Non-FICPA volunteer activities that enhance the accounting profession, such as speaking at conferences, writing articles or holding CPE seminars.
• Charitable activities, such as participating with civic groups (the Red Cross, Chamber of Commerce, etc.) that positively impact the community.
