Moore Stephens Lovelace Moves to New Office in Downtown Miami's Bank of America Building
Moore Stephens Lovelace, P.A. (“MSL”), a regional certified public accounting and business advisory services firm, recently relocated its South Florida operations to an office at the Bank of America building (701 Brickell Avenue) in downtown Miami.
Clad in polished granite and silver reflective glass, the Bank of America building in downtown Miami is considered Brickell Avenue’s signature office building. Located directly on Biscayne Bay, 701 Brickell's floor-to-ceiling windows offer spectacular views of Miami's skyline and the Atlantic Ocean.
The 6,540-square foot MSL office will be located on the building’s fifth floor. From this office location, 20 Firm employees provide accounting and audit services, business advisory services, tax planning and compliance, and healthcare consulting services to meet the needs of businesses in varying stages of growth.
Julie Baird, CPA, a shareholder and Chair of the Firm’s Board of Directors, leads the Miami office. Baird has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting and has an advanced level of knowledge of governmental and not-for-profit industry standards. Sandy Swindling, CPA, MBA, and Michael Gossman, CPA, CFE, CFF are also shareholders in the Firm’s Miami office. Sandy has over 35 years of experience providing comprehensive consulting services to long-term care facilities and is the Firms HealthCare Practice Leader. Gossman, the Firm’s Hospitality and Tourism Practice Leader, serves middle market clients by performing audit, attest and business advisory services to companies across different industries.
“Celebrating 40 years of providing outstanding accounting and advisory services to a wide array of clients, the Miami office of Moore Stephens Lovelace is relocating in order to accommodate the needs of our growing team and to move operations to the heart of the Miami business corridor,” said Baird. “From our new office space, we will continue our steadfast commitment to helping our clients successfully and strategically grow their businesses.”
The Firm works closely with local community business organizations, such as the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Florida Chamber of Commerce. “On behalf of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, congratulations to Moore Stephens Lovelace on opening the doors of their new home in Miami’s central business district,” said Barry E. Johnson, President/CEO of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. “As a valued business in the community and member of our organization, we hope the new location brings an abundance of opportunities for continued growth in South Florida’s thriving business community,” he added.
MSL contracted with ADD Inc. as the architect for the project, as well as Building Blocks, to complete the build-out of the new office space and worked with Jones Lang LaSalle, the management company for the Bank of America building, to complete tenant arrangements.
