Bloomer, Geri & Company, CPAs is proud to announce the promotion of Stephen K. Schickel, CPA to Accounting Manager. Steve, who was formerly with S2 Enterprises and the management team for the Pensacola Ice Pilots, joined Bloomer, Geri & Company in January 2010. Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).

Steve, who specializes in Business and Individual Tax, recently attended the IRS Nationwide 2012 Tax Forum in Atlanta, and the 2012 AICPA Practitioners Symposium and Tech+ Conference in Las Vegas.  Both conferences focused on all areas of taxation. The AICPA conference also had a strong emphasis on technology/IT in tax and accounting, as well as firm management and leadership. He has been a Certified QuickBooks Pro-Advisor since 2005 and an Advanced Certified Pro-Advisor since 2009.

Steve, as a member the 2012 Leadership Pensacola Class, served as Finance Chair for Operation H.O.P.E. to renovate and update the USO Facilities at the Pensacola Regional Airport and onboard NAS Pensacola. The Class raised over $220,000 for the project.
