Join the FICPA

The success and strength of the FICPA is because of the support, involvement and expertise of our more than 18,500 members. Our job is to provide you with the best CPE value, preferred savings programs, industry information pertinent to your profession, advocate on your behalf as well as identify benefits that will ensure your success and the success of the CPA profession. We continually work for you and because of you.

Following are a few common asked membership questions explained. Feel free to call or email the Member Service Center if you have additional questions.

How much are my dues? Dues are determined by the category of membership you fall in at the time of renewal. We also offer complimentary memberships to Firm Administrators, students and Life Members.

Why is my category different from last year? The FICPA Board of Governors recently consolidated the number of categories to simplify our layers of membership. Please see the membership categories for complete descriptions. Changes to your position within the firm, whether you were recently certified or residency changes prior to the dues renewal will also affect your dues amount.

What are my dues used for? Membership dues are reinvested in you by providing the highest quality benefits and services possible. They include but are not limited to:

  • Quality CPE
  • Member to Member Networking
  • Legislative Advocacy
  • Information
  • Preferred Savings Program

How are my contributions to CPA/PAC used? The Florida CPA Political Action Committee (CPA/PAC) works to protect the trust, confidence and esteem the CPA certificate holds in the public’s eye.

How are my contributions to the Educational Foundation used? The FICPA Educational Foundation has distributed more than $3 million to colleges and accounting students in Florida; the future of our profession.
