YCPAs Calendar of Events Happy Hour Benefiting The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Get together with colleagues for happy hour benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a leader in the search for a cystic fibrosis cure. Cystic fibrosis is a chronic disease affecting 30,000 children and adults in the United States. In the 1950s, children diagnosed with cystic fibrosis rarely lived to the age which would allow them to attend elementary school. Through research funding, many people with the terminal disease are now living into their 30s, 40s and beyond. The bright lights and fun of the Vegas Strip are coming to South Florida, and you're invited to try your hand at black jack, poker, roulette, craps and slots. Whether you win or lose, all proceeds from Casino Night benefit the FICPA Education Foundation. Throughout the night, there will be live entertainment, appetizers as well as plenty of prizes. Each Casino Night ticket comes with "funny money" for casino action, drink voucher and raffle ticket. Want to be more than just a player? Be a high roller and become a sponsor of this great event. More than 70 guests vied for $3500 in prizes at the 3rd annual YCPA Casino Night event held at the Howl at the Moon in Tampa; held in conjunction with the FICPA FABexpo. The event hosted by the Young CPAs, raised more than $2500 for the FICPA Educational Foundation and will be matched dollar for dollar through a grant from the Wallace H. Coulter Foundation. This year’s event featured live entertainment, food, prizes and popular gaming tables.
