The Gulf Coast Chapter Nominating Committee has nominated the following officers for the 2012-2013 year.  Elections will be held at the June 5, 2012 meeting.

According to FICPA Policies and Procedures, Section VI (4), any one percent (1%) of Voting members of the Chapter may petition and submit supplemental nominations for Officers and/or Board of Directors, provided that such nominations be filed with the Secretary at least twenty days prior to the date of the election of officers. Notice of such supplemental nominations shall be provided by the Secretary to all Voting members at least ten days prior to the election of Officers and Board of Directors.

Speaker Bios:

Mr. Odum has 22 years of cumulative experience leading direct sales, indirect (channel) sales, product management, strategic alliance and consulting initiatives for several technology, real estate and financial services companies. Since 2008, Mr. Odum has worked with an engineering firm to provide substantial tax savings and additional cash flow to commercial property owners. When not visiting with clients or prospects, Mr. Odum educates and partners with CPA's, EA's (Enrolled Agents), commercial real estate professionals, bankers, wealth managers and insurance professionals to create referral income (value-added service revenue) through the application of engineer-based cost segregation studies.

Mr. Odum honorably served in the United States Navy, Naval Reserve and Individual Ready Reserve at various intervals from 1983-2000. His military duties and business endeavors allowed him to travel throughout the United States, parts of Europe and Asia. For leisure, Mr. Odum reads, golf’s, participates in a fitness regimen and enjoys spending quality time serving his family, friends and the community at large.
