The FICPA scholarships are funded by the Educational Foundation and local chapters to relieve some of the financial burden you may face while getting your degree. The Educational Foundation has provided more than $3 million in scholarships and education programs to support Florida accounting students. Each year through donations given by members of FICPA, they are able to award $120,000 to students who demonstrate strong academic performance and financial need. Students enrolled in a Florida institution, pursuing an accounting degree with plans to become a CPA in Florida are encouraged to apply.

How to Apply: To apply for any of these scholarships, students must go through the accounting scholarship representative at their respective institution. A completed application must be submitted to this representative, who will review the application, along with other accounting faculty. If selected, the application will be forwarded to the FICPA Educational Foundation

Important: Students should not send applications directly to the FICPA Educational Foundation. This is for your accounting scholarship representative to do, if your application is selected. All applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be an FICPA member – JOIN NOW!
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or hold Permanent Residency status
