Developing the CPAs of Tomorrow

The FICPA offers two leadership programs to student members who are full-time accounting major and aspiring to become Certified Public Accountants. One program is invitational and the other is open to a limited number of interested students. These programs are designed to increase your awareness of various careers in accounting; sharpen your interviewing and resume writing skills; offer you strategies for acing the CPA Exam; help you gain a clear vision for becoming a workplace leader; introduce you to business etiquette; and allow you to explore the world of accounting by visiting local accounting firms.

Accounting Scholars Leadership Symposium

The FICPA Accounting Scholars Leadership Symposium is a three-day, invitational program for upper-level accounting majors who want to strengthen their professional skills and learn about the limitless possibilities and benefits of earning the CPA credential. The program is designed to increase the attendee’s awareness of various careers in accounting, sharpen your interviewing and resume writing skills, discover strategies for acing the CPA Exam, and more! ABS Student Track

The ABS Student Track is a single-day program open to accounting students who have started their major coursework and want to strengthen their professional skills and learn about the limitless possibilities and benefits of earning the CPA credential. It is held annually every September, in conjunction with the FICPA Accounting & Business Show, which is scheduled for September 27-29, 2017 and will be attended by hundreds of CPAs from all over Florida.
