1040K Race Scholarships

The FICPA Educational Foundation is now requesting applications from the schools listed below for 1040K Race scholarships to be awarded at the April 23, 2016, 1040K Race in Coconut Grove, Florida. To be eligible, a student must be a member of the Florida Institute of CPAs, a permanent resident of Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, or Monroe Counties, must also be a full-time, 4th or 5th year accounting major at one of the colleges or universities shown below and must meet all other criteria accompanying the application. More specific criteria will be available under Applications and Criteria. Applications are available online.

Scholarship applications must be submitted to the scholarship contact in the Accounting Department at the applicant’s school by February 1, 2016 or by a date determined by the faculty committee charged with reviewing the applications. Please check listing above for deadline changes. Students must submit a completed application along with official transcripts to the Accounting Scholarship Chairman by the school’s deadline for review by the accounting faculty. If the application is selected, it will be forwarded to the FICPA Educational Foundation on behalf of the applicant. The absolute deadline for reviewed applications to be received by the Foundation is February 15, 2016, so contact your chairman about their deadline in early January! FICPA Educational Foundation Scholarships

The FICPA Educational Foundation is now requesting applications from the schools listed below for Educational Foundation scholarships to be awarded for the fall 2016 semester. To be eligible for these scholarships, a student must be a member of the Florida Institute of CPAs, a full-time or part-time (minimum of six (6) credit hours), 4th or 5th year accounting major at one of the colleges or universities listed below and must meet all other criteria accompanying the application. James Wilcox Endowed Scholarship

The FICPA Educational Foundation is now be requesting applications for James Wilcox Endowed scholarships from African- American 4th year accounting students who are members of the Florida Institute of CPAs and will be enrolled as 5th Year or Masters students in the 2016-2017 academic year, beginning with the fall 2016 semester. Walter A. Friedly Memorial Scholarships

The Walter A. Friedly Memorial Scholarship Fund established through the Community Foundation of Broward has designated two (2) $2,000 scholarships for the 2016 fall semester.  To be eligible, a student must be a full-time or part-time (minimum of six (6) credit hours) student, a 4th or 5th year accounting major at one of the universities listed below and be a resident of Broward County.  In addition, the student must demonstrate financial need as determined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid.  More specific criteria will be available under Applications and Criteria.  Applications are available on line.
