Attention Florida accounting firms and accounting professionals:

The FICPA Educational Foundation has developed a fun and easy way for your firm to contribute to the future of our profession.

Participate in "Jeans for Scholarships" to help raise funds to provide scholarships to Florida accounting students.

How it works:

Florida CPA firms schedule a casual jeans day in their offices on May 18, 2012 and October 26, 2012. Firms that sign up for the program become official "Scholarship Wranglers" and will be recognized online (check back for Wrangler updates).

Donations can be any amount; suggested contributions are $5 from employees or staff and $10 from partners or upper management. This donation allows them to wear jeans on or before May 18, 2012 and October 26, 2012. Your firm then makes a donation with the Jeans proceeds to the FICPA Educational Foundation. This is a fun and easy way for your firm to help provide scholarships to deserving accounting students.

Last year the "Jeans for Scholarships" campaign raised $8,000.  With your support, this year we can raise even more.  Wear your Jeans and help the future of our profession!
