FICPA Looking for Outstanding CPAs
The Florida Institute of CPAs was built on volunteerism more than 100 years ago; it is volunteerism that keeps the Institute relevant for its members and secure in its place as one of the most respected state CPA societies in the country. The FICPA has several awards programs that allow leadership and the organization to recognize outstanding volunteer service and CPAs.
FICPA Public Service Award
About the Award: Acknowledges the extraordinary achievements of an individual CPA participating in public service activities and promotes the CPA designation as the premier professional credential for accounting, auditing and finance professionals.
Who’s Eligible: Members of the FICPA who dedicate themselves to public service.
Nominations Due Date: April 6, 2012
Awards Announced: FICPA Annual Convention, June 27-30 at Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster, Mass.

FICPA Outstanding Educator Award
About the Award: Designed to recognize full-time college accounting educators distinguished for excellence in teaching and for national prominence in the accounting profession. The award has a dual function: to extend profession-wide recognition to the recipient and promote role models in academia.
Who’s Eligible: Members of the FICPA who work in education (does not need to be a voting FICPA Member).
