Today, our bi-monthly magazine is distributed to more than 18,500 members and our website reaches accounting industry professionals in Florida and beyond.

Following are our general policies and guidelines for classified ads.

Four Ways to Place Your Classified Advertisement

  1. Email your ad to

  3. Mail your ad and payment, if paying by check, to the Florida Institute of CPAs, Attn: Communications Department, P.O. Box 5437, Tallahassee, FL 32314.
  4. Fax your ad to (850) 222-8190, Attn: Communications Department.

Payment Information

Acceptable Methods of Payment*
  • Check (made payable to the FICPA, specify 'classified ad' on the memo line)
  • Credit Card (Visa/MasterCard/American Express)

Ads that are paid for by check will be posted on the website upon receipt of the check. Ads that are paid for by credit card will be posted on the website within one regular business day of placement. Ads that are sent and received prior to the magazine publication deadline (refer to copy deadlines below) will be published in the magazine according to the set magazine schedule.

*Payment must accompany all ads. Ads without payment will not be posted or published until payment is received.

FICPA Member Rates
  • $103.85 for a 35-word minimum ad
  • $2.95 for each additional word over 35 words
  • $1.03 per word for bolding
Nonmember Rates
  • $117.05 for a 35-word minimum ad
  • $3.33 for each additional word over 35 words
  • $1.03 per word for bolding

If the deadline falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the deadline then becomes the following Monday.

Additional Options

  • Logo
    For an additional $30, a company logo can be posted on the website with the ad. (All classified ad images/logos must be no larger than 70 x 70 pixels in GIF format and can be no larger than 5 KB.)

    The classified images for the website should be submitted in an electronic format (disk, email, etc.) ready for publication on the website. Ads may be emailed to
  • Web Banner Ads
    Animated GIFs are not accepted as classified logos. Animation, Flash and other special advertising effects may be accepted through our website banner advertising program. Contact Marketing Manager Drew Miller via email for information and rates.
  • Anonymous Advertiser Reply Service
    For an additional $10, advertisers desiring anonymity can request ad responses be submitted to the FICPA offices using a file number.

    The responder will reply to the file number that appears in the ad in care of the Florida Institute of CPAs, P.O. Box 5437, Tallahassee, FL 32314. Replies will be forwarded to the advertiser unopened and stamped confidential.

    Responders must include the file number on the outside of the envelope or it will be necessary for FICPA staff to open the envelope to determine contents before forwarding. For more information, email communications staff at

Early Ad Cancellations

Advertisers may request that their ad be removed from the FICPA website before the scheduled expiration date. Refunds will not be granted, however, once the ad has been posted on the website or published in the magazine nor can ad prices be prorated based on actual length of time an ad is posted.
